ASEAN Chair Thanks Entire ASEAN Delegation for Attending Meeting in Person

PHNOM PENH: Prime Minister Hun Sen thanked the entire ASEAN delegation for attending the ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community meeting in person.

On Thursday morning, 13 October 2022, Prime Minister Hun Sen, the 2022 ASEAN Chairman, welcomed and thanked the entire ASEAN delegation for attending the Socio-Cultural Community meeting in person at the Sokha Hotel in Phnom Penh.

The ASEAN Chair remarked that the pillars of ASEAN are divided into three parts.

"In ASEAN, we have three pillars. The first of which is political security, the second pillar is the economic community, and the third pillar is the socio-cultural community, that we are all attending today," he said.

Prime Minister Hun Sen said that these three pillars are very important, and in this regard, he encouraged the entire attending delegation to increase efforts to strengthen cooperation and make the process of today's Socio-Cultural Community meeting more fruitful.
